GRAVITY:MOVIE REVIEW

This Sci-Fi thriller is set to become the most significant space movie in history, featuring groundbreaking special effects and mind blowing 3D action sequences never seen before and set to change the movie experience for years to come. Its about A Space shuttle Mission Specialist Doctor Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock)who is on her first shuttle mission aboard the Space Shuttle Explorer. Veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (George Clooney) is commanding his final mission before retiring.

Their job is to service the aging Hubble Space Telescope orbiting the earth 370 miles up. While they are doing a spacewalk, they receive a disturbing report from Mission Control that the Russians have launched a missile strike on one of their own defunct satellites and that it has resulted in a huge cloud of space debris heading their way. They inform the team to immediately abort the walk and to return to the shuttle but unfortunately their transmission breaks and chaos breaks out, The debris crashing into their shuttle totally destroys it and breaks off the gantry that they are attached to, sending them both hurtling into the void.

In spite of their efforts to re-establish contact with Earth, they are spinning around in space, without oxygen. Kowalski manages to grab hold of her in the nick of time. As they hurtle towards the nearby international space station, they encounter some heart stopping setbacks with disastrous consequences. The action is nailbiting and fast paced and is graphically superb. This is a great family movie and the review experts Rottentomatoes.com gives it a 98% success rating.
